Hairdressing
Units

Shampoo & Conditioning

You will be able to prepare for and complete a shampooing and conditioning service. 

Styling Women's Hair

You will be able to prepare and provide styling for womens hair such as: blow drying, curling, straightening, pin curls and velcro rollers. 

Colouring Hair using Temporary Colour

You will be able to prepare for and apply a temporary colour such as: colour mousse, chalks or sprays. 

Create a Hair and Beauty Image

You will be able to plan and create an image based on a theme and develop the hair for this. 

Level 1 Certificate in Hair and Beauty

If your students are seeking a flexible timetable or have an intrest in Hair and Beauty, we offer 2 days Alternative Provision within this sector.

Level 1 Certificate in Hair & Beauty

Our Y10 Students all start on our L1 course and progress onto the L2 Technical Award for Y11. 

Beauty
Units

Skincare

You will be able to prepare for and provide a skincare treatment. 

Basic Makeup
Application

You will be able to prepare for and carry out a basic day makeup treatment and evening makeup treatment. 

Nail Art

You will be able to prepare for and carry out different nail art techniques such as: dotting, striping, marbelling, foils, glitter and gems. 

Themed Face Painting

You will be able to prepare for and carry out a themed face painting. 

Level 2 Technical Award

Allows our students to develop their current skills from Level 1 to Level 2.

In our Level 2 Award in Hair and Beauty covers the history of hair and beauty, technological advancements and the anatomy and physiology.

Experienced Educators

All of our Teachers are Industry Professionals and have real world experience as Hairdressers or Beauty Therapists. 

Simulated Salon & materials

All of our courses require practical sessions, which are in simulated environments, such as a Beauty Salon or Hairdressers.
